Why you need it
Appointments are kept in the receptionist’s notebook, and a client arrives at 3:00 p.m. for a stylist who is already booked with someone else at 3:00 p.m. At the end of the month half a day goes on working out the stylists’ commissions, and nobody knows where a whole shelf of hair color went.
An appointment book by stylist and chair, client booking through a public form, and a reminder email the day before. A visit writes off materials by the service’s usage rates and credits the stylist’s commission, so pay and material usage are calculated automatically.
