Why you need it

The measurer brings the dimensions on a scrap of paper, the designer recalculates, and the workshop learns about the order when the customer is already calling to ask about timing. The deposit has been taken, but when the installation is and who’s doing it gets worked out on installation day.

An order moves through stages — measuring, design, contract, production, delivery, installation — each with its own deadline and assignee. You can see where each order is stuck, how much has been paid, and how much is still due on handover.
