Why you need it
The excavator has been on the customer’s site three days past the contract, and the invoice was issued for the original term. Which machines are free next week the dispatcher finds out by phoning around, and a returned tool comes back missing half its attachments.
Each unit goes out under a rental contract for a set term, and the availability calendar shows what’s free and when things come back. Charges accrue by day or by shift, and on return the completeness of the kit and any damage are recorded.
