Why you need it
Bookings come in from Booking, by phone, and on Instagram, and the front desk pulls them together on a sheet of squared paper. Twice a season two guests are checked into the same room, and which guests paid the balance on site only comes out at checkout.
The room grid shows occupancy by day, and a booking goes from inquiry to checkout with a deposit and a balance payment. Occupancy, average rate, and revenue per room are calculated for any month.
