Why you need it

The supplier in China was paid 30% up front, the container has been in transit for six weeks, and only the broker on WhatsApp knows where it is. When the goods arrive, nobody can say what they ended up costing with freight, duty, and exchange rate differences.

A foreign trade contract tracks specifications, prepayments in foreign currency, and shipments by stage: dispatch, sea, border, warehouse. All delivery and customs costs are allocated to the goods, and you see the true cost of every batch.
